Tilapia Recipes
Tilapia is one of the least expensive seafood options you can purchase. The practice of farm raising Tilapia has made the availability of this fish more widely available. In addition and like most seafood, Tilapia has a very high amount of essential vitamins and minerals. Someone who may not prefer seafood but want to try eating more fish should consider one of the many Tilapia Recipes available online.

t1Tilapia is very absorbent to a variety of different flavours. Thankfully it does not give off the most pungent of odours typical of fish. The slightest amount of scent can be easily diverted with the right combination of spice additions. Some of the most popular ways to cook Tilapia include coating the fish with a mixture of spices and pepper before pan-searing it in very hot oil. Tilapia holds together fairly well in a hot skillet. Even though the fish holds together well when pan-searing, you will want to ensure it stays as completely together as possible and only flip the fish once if you absolutely must. You can also wrap a Tilapia fillet in an aluminum foil envelope of spices and citrus juice before baking it in the oven or slowly cooking it on your grill.

When you are reviewing Tilapia Recipes online, you will see that so much can be done with this fish. Plus it really could be cooked many different ways. Tilapia is highly flavourful and delicious with drops of lemon, lime and even orange juice.

Look for Recipes on a particular dish using Tilapia that you might be familiar with if Tilapia was not used. This is a good introduction to this wonderful seafood. For instance, if you enjoy tacos then look for a taco recipe where Tilapia is used as the feature ingredient. You may be surprised with the results!
